This light is a sturdy device that casts light very well. After clipping off the "easy mode" screw into a light bulb socket wires, I had a very simple wiring to connect to the white, black and ground wires of the junction box in the ceiling. If I wasn't comfortable wiring it in, I'm not sure how I would have mounted the ring after screwing it into the bulb socket.After installing the light, my 13 year old was thrilled with all the LED lighting modes she could choose from. I was happy with the amount of light it cast throughout the standard sized bedroom. I wanted to connect it to our Google home system to allow voice control but my daughter preferred to use the simple app and asked to skip it. I'd install a second one if I had another daughter!
