Lumary Smart Recessed Lighting Ultra-thin 4inch RGBW WiFi Recessed Canless color changing Lights with Baffle Trim

Happy with lights. I have been wanting to install canned lights for many years in my living room but i couldn't because i only have one light switch to power my ceiling fan. The way my house is built i can't run another wire to power the lights so i needed to be able to power both the ceiling fan and the lights with one switch/power, but use two different remotes to control and power off the fan and lights. These lights made that possible.
I'm very happy with the lights. I finally have more light in my living room. I love that i can dim, change colors, and control with Alexa too.
Because having a remote was very important for me to make my setup work I was disappointed that my order didn't come with the remote when it was supposed to. So, I contacted customer service and they helped send me a remote and even send me an extra light. So big kudos to them for great customer service.
So far everything is working great. I will update if anything changes.

I bought these lights a year ago and have enjoyed having them since. I love that I can program them to turn on and off at specific times. They were easy to install and they work well with the app and the physical remote. The only missing feature is the gradual/transitional dimming or switching. My other smart bulbs have gradual changes where the lights slowly turn on or off or even change color over a period of time, Lumary instantly change - it is not a deal breaker but something that would be nice to have. I know they have the ability to do so.

As for customer service, the response is great! One of the lights failed and stopped responding to the remote, app or wall switch. I contacted customer service by email. They responded promptly, asked a few relevant questions and approved a replacement - no fuss, no hassles. In fact, they sent me 2 lights, all in under 3 days!

The lighting was easily installed with simple hole drilled with a hole saw. I installe 4 in the eaves of my home and was able to match the existing porch lighting. THe lights can be set to turn on and off according to Actual dusk and dawn times. I did this through an Amazon Routine. be sure you have internet connectivity and sufficient router connectivity/available iP addresses as each light fitting requires it's own Ip Address. You can also control them individually if the connection is completed properly or use the included Bluetooth remote to turn on and off.

Using them as soffit lights. Had one disconnect after 10 months of use and un-able to re-connect. Emailed customer support responded in 24hrs and will send a replacement.

Shared access works well and scheduling for sunset/sunrise is available in the app.
