Lumary WiFi Water Timer for Garden Hose

I am currently using this fantastic inexpensive water timer on my drip system in my backyard and I’m going to buy a second one for the front because it has been working flawlessly and the cost can’t be beat originally I really doubt it some of the positive reviews for something that wallet, friendly as far as water timers go. I have bought my share of water timers and for the most part they have been difficult to use and difficult to program. Just when you think you have it programmed correctly, the timer doesn’t go off. I had never tried a system using Wi-Fi, but I thought it would be a lot easier to program my timer using an app instead of leaning over in the hot sun, trying to read a screen that is difficult because of the glare from the sun. I had a little expectation about this Lumary water timer, but the return policy is so good with Amazon, I knew that I could do it. Boy was I ever surprised at how well and how much I like this timer. For the price you just can’t go wrong. The instructions were pretty good, just a little vague where I put the Wi-Fi receiver piece, once I figured that out and downloaded the app which is free I saw some reviews that said it was not, but it is free. The options for this particular timer are simple, you can schedule what days you want it to run and for how long plus there is a manual option and a rain option. The app is pretty straightforward and I feel just about anybody can be successful with this timer. It even includes The white tape to wrap the threads so there are no leaks. Read the directions as I was not using enough white tape on the other projects. Once I put a hefty amount of tape on the threads, I have zero leaks. I attach a two way splitter. One part goes to my garden, and the other part goes to my hose reel. There is no more guessing or forgetting to turn off the hose or turn it back on. Try one. I think you’ll be pleased. Important tip if you have a lot of water pressure add a water pressure filter so you don’t blow out your system.

All pretty easy and smooth. Once you’ve done this simply schedule your watering as desired (frequency, duration and days). Since there are no other expenses this a great value to automate watering. Highly recommended.

This works as advertised. App keeps track of when watering sessions and is very user-friendly. Easy installation with plenty of attachments for odd-shaped hoses. Comes with plumbers tape as well. Connects to a hub that is plugged in elsewhere, as close to the unit as possible. I plugged mine into an outlet in the garage. Timer works well through the app and it has manual control available at the unit. Great value for money and much better quality than the one I had from Home Depot

After a season of use I can only say that I am 100% satisfied, it's a great product. Easily set up into my existing system I can make any adjustments, rain delays, or check status remotely from my phone. It does everything I wanted it to do and for a great price compared to my other options.

Quick shipment, installed with no problems, only issue is that you can not control the unit remotely, unless you are very near the Bluetooth controller
