Lumary Smart Outdoor Neon Rope Lights

I like how bright it is. It is more expensive than other ropes and now I see why. The material is 80% flexible, and I say this because its way thicker (better quality) than other neon rope lights. You will not be able to do ninety degree turns. But that shows it is built to last. The thickness also hides the LED dots. Looks so much more professional. Other than the thickness, the possibilities are endless to outline your landscape. Color transitions are awesome! Controlling through the app is easy, it comes preset with different variations, you can set a schedule and forget it. It is waterproof, except for the plug. I just put mine in an outdoor box.

I had no issues with my WiFi connecting to the device. Note, I do have an extender to reach outside.

Last thing, it comes with landscape anchors, and screw on anchors, both great. If I bring it inside, Im planning on using double sided tape to place clips on wall for the rope.

The lights look great. The rope is thick well protected without sacrificing light output. The colors are rich and vivid. I hooked the lights up to my app, it pulled up the needed firmware upgrade right away, restarted the lights, and it was good to go. The lights have a ton different themes which are fun to play with; you can see one in my video.

Installation is easy; the provided clips help. I installed these around the ceiling of our deck covering 3 of the sides. The lights give off plenty of light to add a fun twist to our outdoor space as well as lots of bright light when we need it being deep out in the country. With app control it's very responsive it will need wifi connection for app use just in case that's important to you.

Lumary has a good offering with this and the 200$ price is reasonable and it's a great deal if you can find it here on sale.

This neon rope light is a lot of fun and easy to play with! I think it will be great for parties and turning it into shapes . The colors are vibrant and bright and they dont bleed into other segment.i have used it on the head board of the master bedroom. It holds shapes well though and is easy to bend. Pairs easily with my phone and the operating from app is great with a lot of diy options. Overall has a great performance and looking forward to buying the longer size.

The flexibility of these lights is outstandingI was able to bend and shape them into unique shapes and designs that perfectly match my mood, style, and room. The color options are fantastic, with bright and vivid RGBAI+WW+CW colors that create a stunning ambiance.
Installation was super easy for a npvive DIYer like myself. If installing them outside, it comes with stakes or clips that you can use depending on where/how you will install them but I opted to install them inside which worked really well! The silicone material feels high quality, making these lights perfect for long-term outdoor use (or indoor ??). Because of how flexible they are, you can install them anywhere and almost anyway you can think of.
For anyone that is interested in home automation, I have found that these use the tuya chips inside so integrating the lights with homeassistant was also pretty straightforward and i was able to do so using the 'localtuya' integration (for added control/security) as well as the official tuya integration which requires external connectivity to the tuya IoT platform (cloud).
Overall, these are high quality smart lights that are built very solid, perform very well, and have plenty of features and configurations both with and without the mobile app. Very pleased with them and would certainly recommend these lights to anyone in the market for some quality rope lights for indoor or outdoor use.
