I ordered the 158 and the 105 the instructions were spot on so far installing the has been so easy and the app is great just getting familiar with the app and playing with the different parts of it the customer service has been fantastic kinda used to talking with someone but the email response is very quick and reliable the lights look great on my house I would highly recommend the lights and the company

Lumary Permanent Outdoor Lights Max

For starters, I have several years experience selling traditional Christmas lighting and did training on installation to contractors and home owners.

Installed these on my house a few weeks ago and have enjoyed them. I didn't want to put screw holes in the metal so currently have them installed using the sticky pads only. Temperature was in the 50's. Any cooler and I don't know that I'd trust the sticky to metal for long term. However, they are 3M brand so you know the quality is there. I cleaned the metal with alcohol and wiped well after. When putting them in I pushed for about 8 seconds to make sure they got a good connection. Also, I wanted to ensure correct spacing so I created a cardboard template of 13.5" spacing. I don't like the strong triangle light look so put them farther away. I believe they're about 14" from the house wall and they look great! I even keep them at 30% brightness.

App isn't bad to deal with. I just wish you could save scenes (scenery) without having a motion involved. I like the static look. However, Each week I let a kid decide the color scheme so they enjoy it better.

For my house I was able to adjust the distance between the bulbs and tuck the wires into the eves. And the extensions were perfect sizes for the jumps when needed. However, if you have a more involved roof layout then I'd recommend kits with the ability to cut into and run extension wires between to get a more professional install look.

There was an issue with a strand freaking out/strobing occasionally but customer service was incredibly simple for getting replacements and resolving the issue. It only took about 8 minutes to replace a full strand.

Overall I recommend them. I also recommend searching videos for installation tips for these it similar types to drastically improve your installation.

Great length, adheres well easy to use.

I really like these holiday / all purpose lights. They are well made, they are very bright, limitless color choices, well engineered for installation making it easy to use. Granted, in this set there are a lot of lights which will make it a bit time consuming to install, but when done, they function perfectly. They are relativity easy to untangle considering the number of lights and length. This particular brand, Lumary, may be the most user friendly brand I have tried and I have tried several brands. Unlike other light controlled apps I have dealt with, the app Lumary has is among the easiest to use. I cannot begin to describe all the different variations, options, colors and patterns you have control of, your imagination is the only boundary. There are literally millions of colors and patterns that can be accomplished with these lights. In my video, it being the 4th of July, I only used three colors, but even with just three colors I spent at least an hour playing with all the options of how I would use them. In the background of my video you can hear the celebration, I felt as I was in a war zone. Once Christmas gets here, I will move these lights to the eve of the house and then I will have so many colors in the mix. I’m sure I will spend more time exploring the color and pattern options than I will installing them. You can even set the pattern to music. To install these lights, you have options. Each light has a base that you can put a screw in or use the 3M tape that is on each light. The light simply slides onto the base and Is secure, so you don’t have worry about the lights falling down. Once I do have them permanently mounted, I can use them as ordinary lights, just set them to the type of light I want (I’m thinking in terms of temperature, white light), they aren’t just for holiday celebrations, they are just functional. As I mentioned, I have several different brands of holiday LED lights, but none compare to the overall experience and quality of these lights. If you are serious about your festive lighting, for the money, I don’t think you can do any better than these lights, they are indeed a true value.
