first off lets start where everyone starts when they buy something from anywhere... the packaging. as soon as i took it out of the amazon packaging you could tell that this light has already been opened and used. i dont remember buying a used light. pretty sure it should have came new and unopened. as i reopen the already opened box the light wasnt even in the packaging correctly further confirming that i was sent a used light.
this light connects through bluetooth to your phone or other device or through wifi. you also need to connect your location so the app knows where the light is for some reason. shouldnt have to give out my location to connect to an LED light so im not sure why thats a thing but it is.
after setting up the light and connecting with the app it offers pretty much a standard brightness that a 4inch LED light offers but it is also able to change between colors. the app has a bunch of different modes you can go through or you can create your own. when the light turns off it stores the settings in the light so when its turned back on it goes right back to the scene it was on.
all in all its a decent light.. maybe a little expensive, you have to connect your location to it AND theres a chance you may get a used pack even if you bought a new 1

Unknowingly, the company has responded in a GOOD way. they reached out on their own to make sure that i was satisfied with their lights. they seemed very concerned that i was sent a used light and wanted to send our a replacement. that tells me that they genuinely care about their customers. to me that means the world. so many companies will brush you off and not give a second thought about how you felt about their product. NOT THIS COMPANY!! they care about the products they put out and how their customers respond to them.
they lights overall are some great lights. easy to control and setup. they dont run extremely hot like some other brands out there.
as an electrician i can say that i would love to work with this company again. not only do they have some great products but they have a team of employees that work together with the customers to make sure you are satisfied. thats a big plus in my book.

This is listed as a soffit light that is a 4 inch 780 lumen RGB light that can be controlled via the Smart Life app. Installation was easy. I have had no problems controlling it, changing the color, changing the brightness, and controlling it via my Google Home voice commands. It can create any color of light desired, including a range of white light options. I noticed that this light has 2 stickers on the back that the other lights like this did not have. One label includes model number, specifications, fcc id, various other numbers including a D/C date. (not sure what D/C in this use means). The other label is a "OC Passed" label. I also noticed that the round 2 pin connector on this one has a red gasket that I do not remember the others having. Perhaps because this is intended for a soffit where it may be exposed to more moisture. But operationally it is the same as other LED RGB lights from this company that I have. But I noticed this one has a slightly lower price than another one from this company that looks the same. I have a better feeling about this light, like it was perhaps produced with tighter specs and more quality and a lower selling price. All pluses. Like many other lights, this light does not have a UL mark and is not intended for installation in a UL approved can fixture. Because of this I installed it in a non flammable surface and I also put 0.5 amp 250 volt fuses in the junction box that feeds this light.

Pretty easy set up, very plug and play in my opinion. The brightness is subtle, which gives good ambiance. Easy to use, good directions, so far the quality is good, we'll see how long it lasts, I'll update review if needed.

I replaced my existing plain white eave lights with these. The white is just as bright as the current, maybe brighter. Getting the 7 connected was pretty easy too. I then set them up to be a room. I haven't seen how I could control the color of them all at once, but you can set them individually to one setting.
