Lumary RGBAI Gimbal Smart Recessed Lighting 4 Inch Pro, 9w 780LM

Good looking lights with easy to control features in the app! Excellent customer service after the sale.

Ive been transitioning to Lumarys newer RGBAI lights from their older one-color models, and while I love the product itself, I ve decided to pause my upgrades. The hardware is excellent and very easy to manage, but the software doesnt keep up. The app is simple to use, but its not practical to control the lights through your phone constantly, especially when you ve invested in smart lights. The Alexa integration is the biggest issue it doesnt distinguish between the inside and outside rings of the lights. As a result, the lights either do strange things in routines or the inside ring gets mistakenly adjusted, making the experience frustrating.

Smart feature is a must for my house as most if not all lighting we have are smart and the night light feature is cool as well. RGB option is fun to have but most importantly, the normal white light is nice and bright, the gimbal allows me to aim it directly at my wall where my photos are displayed.

The Lumary light is a recessed light and in 4 inch it has a clean unobtrusive appearance. It performs well with Google home control and Alexa. The colors are good and the brightness is good for accent lighting. All in all it is a good value if you are looking to change out old can lights and add a clean modern touch to your home.

Imagery on the package is misleading. The main light does not change colors and the auxiliary light is not bright enough to work by itself. Do not buy this if you are wanting to use as color changing eave lights.

Edit: Seller reached out about my issue and helped me get the right lights for my application. I was impressed by their customer service. While the above is true about this specific product, they do have a far better model for my application (outdoor eave lighting). Buy this one B0D28H7NWP instead for eave lighting.
