Lumary Smart Recessed Light Pro

I really like this light with the colored ring around the white light. It really looks nice. It can be controlled via the Smart Life app. It was easy to set up in the app. It connected up to my WiFi with no problems. This light, like many others, lacks a UL mark and it is not intended for installation in a UL approved can fixture. Because of this I installed it in a non flammable surface and I also put a 0.5 amp 250 volt fuse in the junction box that feeds this light.

We recently finished a home renovation and added can lights throughout our living room and kitchen. Unfortunately, the electrician wired them to multiple wall switches in different areas of the room—meaning we have to do laps just to turn off all the lights. Smart switches weren’t an option without redoing the wiring, which wasn’t in the budget.That’s when I found this Lumary Smart Recessed Light Pro—and it was a game changer. Installation was a breeze—up and running in under 10 minutes, fully integrated with the app, and Alexa-compatible right out of the gate. No electrician needed. I liked it so much I immediately ordered a second to install above our kitchen island.The light itself is stunning. The night ring feature adds a beautiful ambient glow with customizable RGB colors to set the perfect mood. Just note: the main center light doesn’t change colors—only the outer ring does. The center does allow for adjustable brightness and white temperature, so it’s still versatile.My only gripe? The price. It’s definitely on the higher end for smart lights, which makes it hard to outfit an entire room with them. But for key areas where function and aesthetics matter, it's absolutely worth it.Highly recommend if you're looking for smart lighting with style, flexibility, and seamless Alexa integration.

This light fixture is really cool! We have used the slim, wafer-style LED light fixtures is all of the main living areas of our home and we love them. The fact that this one has a built in night light makes it really useful. We are in the middle of updating our 60s-era home that was definitely a "lamps first" design, so lighting has been a big focus for us. We also still have some younger children, so having night lights is something we still consider. This fixture is going to be going in our main bedroom hallway where we have 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and it will go either in the middle of the hall or by the bathroom so the little ones can find their way if they need to use it in the middle of the night.I like this one, also, because it also has an app that we can use to set a schedule for the night light function as well as the color, brightness, etc. We got the white fixture to match the rest of them in our house, but there were other options as well. And even with the night light (which is a thin, translucent ring area that sits between the decorative bezel and the ceiling), this is a super thin light and it looks great. It's well made and really a great fixture.These fixtures are really easy to install. They have a built-in junction box and you just have to strip your hot and neutral wires and use the included wire nuts to connect everything. Then slide the box up into the ceiling through the hole you've cut and then use the spring-loaded tension mounts to hold the light up and you are done. Like I said: We have used these types of lights all over our home. I have installed more than 30 of them. From the time we mark where the light is going to flipping the switch to turn it on, we have gotten the installation down to about 20 minutes, and that includes running new cable. They are really easy, especially if you are doing a bunch. You can get really fast. HOWEVER: If working with electricity makes you uncomfortable, obviously get a licensed electrician. Don't risk it.

Once connected, the controls are intuitive and responsive.While these don’t carry a UL mark and aren’t designed for traditional UL-rated cans, they’re still great when installed correctly in a safe environment. Some users may want to take extra safety measures (like fusing the line) if you’re especially cautious.All in all, these lights strike a great balance between functionality, aesthetics, and smart convenience. I’ll definitely be installing more—they’ve added both brightness and personality to our space.

Of all the other similar lights I have used, this one has the most "wow" effect because of its surprisingly nice design! This is a white light with adjustable temperature, and includes a full RGB night light.
